Each watch features scratch-resistant sapphire glass to protect the dial with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Sapphire glass is also used to create the transparent back of the watches and this is anti-reflection treated on the interior. The transparent back allows the wearer to observe and enjoy the mechanical movement inside. The SINN 556 watches are all waterproof and pressure-resistant to 20 bar. They are also low pressure resistant. The screw-fastened case back and crown are designed to ensure this water-resistance.
