The brand’s roots are firmly in aviation timepieces. Each of the watches in the collection is water-resistant and pressure-resistant to 20 bar, meeting the technical requirements for waterproofness, as set out in standard DIN 8310. The watches are also resistant to low pressure.
Model Specifications 103.0616-HLINK: A special feature of this model is its DIAPAL, which is a lubricant-free anchor escapement. This model also features an anthracite electroplated dial that is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. The sapphire glass has anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
This pilot’s chronograph has 3 sub-dials and a captive pilot’s bezel with minute ratcheting and a luminous key mark. There is also a second time zone function on a 12 hour basis. A date aperture can be found at 3 o’clock.
The case of this watch is made of polished stainless steel. The screw-fastened case back, screwable crown and screwable push-pieces aid water resistance. The case back is made of sapphire glass that is anti-reflective on the interior.
This allows the wearer to observe the movement. This watch is powered by an LJP 8000 self-winding mechanism. It uses 28 bearing jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch.
The movement features a seconds stop function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309. This model is also equipped with temperature resistant technology, which allows it to be functionally reliable at temperatures between -45 °C and +80°C. For added practicality, the watch's Ar-Dehumidifying Technology enhances this functional reliability and freedom from fogging.
The watch has a 41mm case diameter, a 20mm band lug width, and a 17.2mm case thickness. It weighs 88 grams without a strap. The numbers, indices and hour, minute, and second stopwatch hand are coated with luminescent colour.
