So when it comes to teaching them how to tell time, it only makes sense to do it on their terms. That's why Lauren Vantuykom designed this watch that uses colors (hours) and glow-in-the-dark animals (minutes) in place of numbers. The idea is to teach preschool-age kids the concept of time first, before moving on to actual numbers, by using things already familiar to them.
Who knows? In time, they may even discover the virtue of patience. Each watch features a Japanese quartz movement, and is shock- and water-resistant (though can't be worn while swimming). The flexible silicone band features your choice of either unicorns and rainbows or trucks and construction gear.
