Throughout the years, the Tank timepiece has developed into countless variations including primary colour versions, full gold and diamond-set models and adorned wrists such as Andy Warhol and Princess Diana. In 2021, the Tank reinvented itself with this Cartier Tank Must watch, a new must-have directly inspired by the Tank Louis Cartier first created in 1917. An extra-large model with rounded brancards and a steel case, the Tank Must watch is encased with the Cartier signatures including the Roman numeral white dial, the railway minute track, the blued sword-shaped hands and a blue synthetic stone cabochon set into the crown.
The extra large case is made from steel and houses the mechanical movement with automatic winding, which powers the hands and date window at 6 o'clock. This timepiece is presented on a black grained calfskin strap, which has an interchangeable steel folding buckle. Water resistance to 3 bar (30m).
