Bering Solar Watch 14631-024

Bering was first launched as a watch brand in 2010 in Denmark by founder Michael Witt Johansen. Johansen was heavily influenced by his father’s travels to the Arctic and became fascinated by the tales of great adventure he would return home with. Johansen named his brand after Vitus Bering, a Danish sailor who crossed the straits that would later be named the Bering Straits in his honour.

The Solar Watches are powered by a unique rechargeable battery that allows them to be powered by any kind of light. This ensures that each model remains precise and reliable for months without the wearer needing to take any action.

The design of the Solar watch is characterised by its ultra-thin case and delicate Milanese strap. The dial exhibits gold hour, minute and second indices. A polished gold-plated stainless steel case frames the dial. It measures 31mm in diameter and 8mm in height.

The watch is finished with a stainless steel Milanese bracelet that fastens with a safety clasp. This model is water-resistant up to 50 metres (5 bar).
